Coma Berenices

On the Denderah Zodiac, Coma Berenices is always seen as a female figure in a long robe grasping Leo’s tail.
Since Coma Berenices is seen as a netjeru in human form, therefore it represents a spiritual understanding.

Note the small bird or crone (Corvus) perched on Hydra, which is the serpent under Leo's feet.

As seen on "http://home.main.rr.com/ imyunnut/Den.Round.html" by Joanne Conman, Coma Berenices "the woman holding Leo's tail may be a pun, with Babylonian roots, alluding to the Inundation and paralleling the Egyptian pun suggested by Daressy that is found on the opposite side of the round ceiling.    (See the figure holding the pig in the disk [See Luna]).    The figure holding Leo's tail has been identified as possibly the goddess Mut or possibly the astronomical figure of Coma Berenices.    The decans beneath her are linked to Amun, so she could represent Mut, Amun's consort."

In the above image we see Leo standing on Hydra and Coma Berenices behind them holding a flail on the Grand Temple located above Decan 3 and 2.

On the ESNE Plate 79 we can see Coma Berenices and Leo as seen above.

The upper section of ESNE Plate 87 also shows Coma Berenices and Leo.    Note the bird in this image could be Corvus.    The figure above Leo may be the constellation of Leo Minor, "Prince of Peace."

On ESNE Plate 79 to the left of the figure of Saturn it seems to be a Virgo like figure holding the long tail of the Sphinx in her hands similar to Coma Berenices.
The image above could also be Amaunet or even Mut.

Note that the wig is the constellation of Coma Berenices.

In "The Witness of the Stars," by E.W. Bullinger, he concludes that on the "Zodiac of Denderah the figure below, referring to an image of a woman seated on a throne holding a child on her hand was Coma .
This is not the description of Coma Berenices, but represents Corvus.    He claimed the name to be the Egyptian Shes-nu."    I believe Mr. Bullinger is in error here.

From www.siloam.net/denderah it states Denderah Decan 29 as seen above for the figure to the left is seen as two entities:
First: as "Antinous" represented "by the child with a flail, signifying mastery of the physical element, and sitting upon the lotus."    This has been entitled as the "New Age."
Secondly: "The lotus is the constellation Coma Berenices.    In Egypt, this constellation was also known as the wig of Hathor, which topped the pillars at the entrance to the temple at Denderah, from which the zodiac monument has been removed."    This has been entitled as the "Top of the World."
