"Volume III - Virgo and its Decan Constellations"

Virgo and its Decan Constellations.

Decan 14-15

Decan 15 seen below the front foot of the Corvus is a male figure with either a baboon head or a lion head wearing wavy horns and an Atef crown.    He has three stars (in an upward pointing triangle) under his left hand.
Since Decan 15 is seen as a netjeru in human form, therefore it represents a spiritual understanding.

There is a connection to the Grand Temple Decan 6 in that it is a male figure, with wavy horns and a similar crown, with three stars above it.

The hieroglyphs seem to begin with
a mouse sign, Egypt. peh,
and other signs which are not readable,
then a ruler sign, Egypt. hk3,
followed by a star.
Thus it reads somewhat like [peh-?-?-hka].

Cyril Fagan commented on the Grand Temple Decan 6 and 7 name of Tjemat or Themat seen in the column to the right, "Most appropriately, tm3.t (Themat) the 'river,' is one of several pentades that tally with the constellation Aquarius."

If compared to Denderah Decan 15, there is a major connection, in that the horns and Atef crown, and three stars match up.

Grand Temple Decan 6 is a male figure, with wavy horns and crown with three stars (two above his head and one star in front of his scepter).    This crown is seen on Decan 4 and 6.

    Decan 6 is called
Tjmat heret, Themat-hert, or Tjemat Heret or Tjemat-herijet, which begins with
the tether rope sign, Egypt. tj,
then the Egyptian sign for m3, (ma),
and the bread loaf sign, Egypt. t,
and then followed by the face sign, Egypt. hr,
next the mouth sign, Egypt. r,
then the bread loaf sign, Egypt. t,
followed by a star.
    It reads as [Tj-ma-t hr-r-t].
Heret is also seen on Grand Temple Decan 6 and 11.    Heru and Hery seems to mean "upper."
Tjemat is on Grand Temple Decan 6 and 7.    As seen on "http://home.main.rr.com/ imyunnut/Den.Round.html" by Joanne Conman, "Tjemat," possibly means "The Mat."
Thus possibly "The Upper Mat."    This is not to be confused with Ma'at.

Its deity is called Amset Hapy?, Mestha-Hapi or Tuamutef.

Amset, (Imsety, Mestha, Ameshet) son of Horus, seen as a mummified man, protected the liver of the deceased, protected by the goddess Isis.

    Associated with VIRGO,
but it has stars in Bootes as [4] Arcturos.
