"Volume III - Pisces and its Decan Constellations"

Pisces and its Decan Constellations.

Decan 31-32

Decan 31 seen below Pisces is a mummified figure with wavy horns as a head or crown, with no arms and is seated on a throne.    In front of its body are three stars in an upward pointing triangle.
Since Decan 31 is seen as a netjeru in a headless mummy form, therefore it represents an aging or dying spiritual understanding.
A mummy usually represents old age or the sun setting from a hieroglyphic perspective.

    The hieroglyphs seen here are
three ducks or goose signs, Egypt. s3,
       which is sasasa,
and ends with a star.
This would have to read [Sa-sa-sa].

On Grand Temple Decan 21 its Decan is named Saouy seret, or Sasa seret, where we see
two ducks or goose signs, Egypt. s3,
       which is Sasa,
which aligns with Denderah Decan 36.
Grand Temple Decan 29 is also named Sasaqed, or Sasa qet,
with two duck signs, Egypt. s3, for Sasa,        which aligns with Denderah Decan 28.

From www.siloam.net/denderah it claims that Denderah Decan 31 image represents a Tyrannical Ruler, or "Rational Tyranny" associated with Cepheus, where a child is brought before the tyrant's throne to be taught the father's business.

A similar figure can be seen above on ESNE plate 79 before Aquarius seated on a throne, as a male figure with arms extended outward, and its head is an Ostrich feather, which may represent Shu.

If compared to Denderah Decan 31, the only major connection, is seen in the wavy horns.

Grand Temple Decan 26 is a male figure with a hawk head wearing just the wavy horns on his head, with two stars above his scepter.

Decan 26 is called by this     Heri ib khentou or Her-ab-Khentu, seen as
the face sign, Egypt. hr,
with a determinative sign, Egypt. |,
followed by the heart sign, Egypt. ib, (Ieb)
then followed by the Egyptian sign for khent,
then a water sign, Egypt. n,
next a bread sign, Egypt. t,
and the quail chick sign, Egypt. ou,
followed by a star.
Thus we find [hr-i ib Khent-ou].
Heri is seen on Grand Temple Decan 15, 25 and 26.    Heri, Hery and Heru mean "Upper."
Ib is seen on Grand Temple Decan 15 and 26.    Ib (ab, yeb) could mean "middle," as seen on Denderah Decan 6 (Grand Temple Decan 15).
Cyril Fagan comments, "Preceding Khonoy (Pisces) are a group of pentades falling in the constellation Aquarius and having the ideogram of three jars in a stand.    This is a syllable for knt.t (Khentet) which means 'he who is in front.'    This refers to the Full Moon in Aquarius which occurred at the inauguration of the Sothic Cycle and which led the planetary reading from west to east.    In some celestial diagrams this is illustrated by the pictogram of the disc of a Full Moon in the middle of a boat, which bears the legend hr ib wl3 (her yeb weya) which means '(He who is) in the middle of the boat'."     Khent is seen on Grand Temple Decan 10, 11, 12, 13, 25, 26 and 27.
As seen on "http://home.main.rr.com/ imyunnut/Den.Round.html" by Joanne Conman, "Khentu," which means "to travel southward or upstream (masculine)," or "The (male) Southern Traveler."    See Denderah Decan 30 (Grand Temple Decan 27) for information on "The Lower Khentu."    See Denderah Decan 32 (Grand Temple Decan 25) for information on "The Upper Khentu."
Also see Denderah Decan 11 (Grand Temple Decan 10) for information on "Khentet" as the feminine meaning.
Based on the above information therefore "Heri ib khentou," could mean "The Middle Khentu."

Also mentioned on "http://home.main.rr.com/ imyunnut/Den.Round.html" by Joanne Conman, seems to connect this decan with the name "Bawey," claiming it means "The Two Ba-Spirits."    One may note that Denderah Decan 33 (Grand Temple Decan 24) has the name Tepi-a Bawey, "The One Preceding the Two Ba-Spirits."

    Its deity is Hor (Her).

    Associated with CETUS,
