"Volume III - Scorpius and its Decan Constellations"

Scorpius and its Decan Constellations.

Decan 11-12

Decan 11 is actually seen below the Denderah figure for Ara, as a male figure with a hawk head wearing a sun disk crown, and one star under his left hand.    This connects very easily with Grand Temple Decan 10, a hawk head with a sun disk crown, which can also be found below the same constellation figure for Ara.
Since Decan 11 is seen as a netjeru in human form, therefore it represents a spiritual understanding.

    The hieroglyphs here are
either seen as
the Egyptian sign for pt, Pet depicts the sky as a ceiling which drops at the ends, like the horizon, and it symbolizes the heavens.
or it is two unrecognizable signs,
followed by what may be
    the Egyptian k,
or a sieve sign for Egypt. h, kh(e),
and then ending with a star.
    Thus resembling [pt-k or ?-?-k]
or possibly [pt-h as in Ptah].

In comparison to Denderah Decan 11, there is a major connection in the male figure with hawk head and sun disk crown, and the constellation of Ara are seen.

Grand Temple Decan 10 is a male figure with a hawk head, wearing a sun disk crown, with two stars above his scepter.    Grand Temple Decan 1, 10, and 15 also have a male figure with a sun disk crown on their head, although only 10 and 15 are hawk heads.

    This decan is named
Tep a khentet, Tepa-Khentet, Tepi a khentet
or Tepi-a Khentet with similarity to the name seen in Grand Temple Decan 12,
it begins with the Egyptian sign for Tep,
then the lower arm sign, Egypt. a,
the last three signs are the Egyptian Khentet, also seen on Grand Temple Decan 10-13,
and ends in a star.
Thus it reads as [Tep a Khentet].
    Khent is seen on Grand Temple Decan 10, 11, 12, 13, 25, 26 and 27.
As seen on "http://home.main.rr.com/imyunnut/Den.Round.html" by Joanne Conman, she mentions Tepi-a Khentet as meaning "The One Who Precedes Khentet." "Khentet" means "to travel southward" or "upstream (feminine)," or "The (female) Southern Traveler."
Also see Denderah Decan 31 (Grand Temple Decan 26) for information on "Khentet" as the masculine meaning.

The deity is called     Hapy (Hapi), Douamoutef, or Tuamutef.

    Associated with ARA,

Ophiuchus as Yed Prior,
