Scorpius and its Decan Constellations.

Hercules

On the Denderah Zodiac, Hercules is a male figure with a spear in his left hand.    Some sources claim him to be known as Bau, "who cometh."
Since Hercules is seen as a netjeru in human form, therefore it represents a spiritual understanding.

Located above the goose (Aquila) to the left of Sagittarius and above the Denderah Decan 4, the man with the sun disk head, which correlates with the Grand Temple Decan 17.

Hercules may be the hawk head figure holding a spear or arrow (Sagitta) as seen on the Grand Temple located above Decan 16 and Decan 17.

The hieroglyphic origin is seen, as the Arrow as seen on Sagittarius, and is similar to that seen in Hercules' left hand.

On the lower section of ESNE Plate 87 between Capricornus and Sagittarius is a figure which probably represents Hercules who is holding the spear which is Sagitta.
Anhur (Onuris) meaning "He Who Brings the Distant One," and was an ancient god of war and hunting whose origin is This in Upper Egypt, near Abydos.    He was depicted in bearded, human form and carrying four feathers on his head, a spear or sometimes a lance lifted high in one or both hands.    His consort is Mekhit (See Hat-Mehit).

One source on Hercules claims, "The man holding the light above the goose and the sun headed man is the constellation Hercules, and his light marks a parallel alignment to Seshat’s wand.    In the hand of Hercules, the invisible wand passes from enlightenment through the head of the goose (hieroglyph for son), the head of the prince at the balance, through the uterus of Tauret, through the head of Mercury, and the heads of the crab Cancer, the lion Leo, and the serpent Hydra (previous figure)."
From www.siloam.net/denderah it states that Hercules is entitled as the "Son of Amun" and is presented shown holding a torch, which does not reflect what is seen in the original Denderah Zodiac, which clearly has a narrow spear.    Another source even claims that the spear is a mace.

In "The Witness of the Stars," by E.W. Bullinger, page 59 "In the Zodiac of Denderah we have a human figure, likewise with a club.    His (Hercules) name is Bau, which means who cometh."
