Sagittarius and its Decan Constellations.

Decan 7-8

Decan 7 is under the forefeet of Sagittarius and the stinger of Scorpius and seen as a male figure with a hawk head and two stars aligned vertically under his left hand.    It can be compared to Grand Temple Decan 14 as a male figure with a hawk head, with no crown, with three stars (one star above his head, and two stars above his scepter).
Since Decan 7 is seen as a netjeru in a human form, therefore it represents a spiritual understanding.

The hieroglyphs here are varied on the Denderah Zodiac, we can only speculate that this is the proposed name for Sagittarius, Pi-maere,
in that it could be
the Egyptian sign for Pi,
the Egyptian sign for ma,
the Egyptian sign for r.

Denderah Decan 18 has the same image (i.e. the bar with the two legs) as seen above in the middle picture.

Another source shows the right image as the
triangle or pyramid shaped sign, Egypt. Sepd,
also seen on Grand Temple Decan 37,
and called     Soped or known as Sirius, (Egyptian Sepdet) we see
a tall triangular figure or sign, which is unknown to me, but is represented here as Sepd,
and since next is the bread loaf, Egypt. t,
and then it ends in a star, ‘gate.’
We therefore see [Sepd-t].    The other signs in the image above are too small to read, but followed by a star.

From www.siloam.net Denderah Decan 7 is stated as meaning, "Male Intuition, Perception."

From www.siloam.net/denderah it claims that Denderah Decan 5, 6, and 7 represented as Wisdom are entitled as "Rational Feelings."    "The enlightened one is transformed into a knowledgeable man who wears the atef crown of rational understanding and walks behind the man with a bare head of a serpent."

If compared to Denderah Decan 7, a major connection is seen here as a male figure with a hawk head with no crown.

Grand Temple Decan 14 is a male figure with a hawk head, with no crown, with three stars (one star above his head, and two stars above his scepter).    Compare this Decan to the Denderah image of Mars.

This Decan is named     Sapet khenou, Sa pet khenou, Sapty Khenwey or Sapt-Khennu, the first is
the Egyptian sign for Sa,
then the wicker stool sign, Egypt. p,
next the bread loaf sign, Egypt. t,
then a sieve sign for Egypt. h, kh(e),
then the water sign, Egypt. n,
and then the determinative sign,
and dual sign for ou,
followed by a star.
    Thus [s-p-t kh-n-ou].
As seen on "http://home.main.rr.com/imyunnut/Den.Round.html" by Joanne Conman, it is implied that Sapty-khenwey means "The Lotus Blossom of the Two Khen (Fish?)."

The deity is called     Aset, nebhet, also Ast Nebt-Het note that Nephthys (Nebt-het) is the sister and wife of Set, sister of Isis and Osiris, mother of Anubis, who protected Hapi.
