Sumerian Kings List - Unug (Uruk/Erech)- Fifth Dynasty

Kings after the Flood, the city of Unug (Uruk/Erech) reigns.

In the New Sumerian age, clay cylinders of Gudea, known as cylinder A and B, were found as foundation deposits in the temple Eninus devoted to the god Ningirsu.    These cylinders contain texts devoted to the achievements of Gudea.    The long texts with about 1300 lines are the most ancient complete Sumerian literary composition and are an important source for understanding Sumerian.    The language is called New Sumerian; most of the knowledge about Sumerian is derived from texts in an era in which Sumerian, as a spoken language was already extinct.

Utu-hejal 427 years, ? days
Other manuscripts have 26 years, 2 + X months, and 15 days,
or 7 years, 6 months, and 15 days,
or 7 years, 6 months, and 5 days.
One source calls this king Utu-hegal (Utuhengal), who reigned for 7 years, 6 months and 15 days between 2114-2107 B.C.    The independent Ensi: Nammahani was dated at 2113-2111 B.C.

That 1 king could reign for 427 years in this time period seems most unlikely, and is probably more in line with 7 years, 6 months and 15 days, as per the dating 2114-2107 B.C., as the starting and ending date for the New Sumerian Age.

The following is from the Sumerian HÉ.GÁL-a-a under Coma Berenices Constellation Names or Coma Berenices Star Names, all in regard to the Sumerian HÉ.GÁL-a-a.

Coma Berenices Constellation Names - HÉ.GÁL-a-a and dShala, Abundance
Coma Berenices Star Names
Sumerian HÉ.GÁL-a-a, Akkadian kakkab nushi, "Star of Abundance," is part of Coma Berenices (?), as part of Virgo.
Sumerian hé-gál: abundance ('abundance' + 'to be available').
So this Sumerian reference to a star or constellation should be called as stated "Star of (Great) Abundance,"
since usually: -a-a or -A-A, means as if reduplicated "The Great."
Note that HÉ.GÁL-a-a, could be either a or b Comae Berenices.
