Sumerian Kings List - Zimbir (Sippar)
Kings before the Flood, the fourth city of Zimbir (Sippar) reigns.
Sippar was to become the city of the sun god, Sumerian utu, later called ama (Shamash) in Akkadian. It is said that the secrets of divination were shown to a king of Sippar, also by divine revelation.

- One source calls this city as Larak and call king #7 as Ensibzianna, whereas the same place king #8 as Enmenduranna, with the city of Sippar.
- As in most cases Enmenduranna is king #7, from the city of Sippar.
- Berosus, the Babylonian priest, called king #7, Euedorachos, as in the city of Panti-Biblos.
- Halley's Bible Handbook, called king #7, Sibzianna, as in the city of Larak.
- As for the city name Sumerian Zimbir:
- Sum. zim is not found, and unsure if the following compare.
- Sum. sim, sín: to strain, filter; to sift (flour); to see through.
- Sum. im: fragrant.
- Sum. bir: to scatter, mix; to wreck; to murder.
- Sum. bír: n., mistiness (of the eyes); v., to dry up, shrivel up; to sniff, wrinkle one's nose.
- Sum. bìr: team (of donkeys/animals).
- Sum. bir4: locust.
- Sum. bir6,7: to rip to pieces; to break.
- Sum. bir9: to blaze, flame up.
- If the Flood occurred around 6,000 B.C. as I propose, then #7 would be Lamech, who lived to be 777 years old, and had a son Noah at age 53 or at 182-188 years of age, between 6014-6600 B.C.
If king #7 with 21,000 years ruled which is based on 5 sars and 5 ner, claimed to be 3,600 years for each sar, is actually 3,600 days, then the value would change to around 58 years and 120 days ruled. If a sar were equal to 18 years and 11 days, then it would be 92.5 years ruled. This puts it more in range of the birth of Lamech's son, Noah.
- In The Alpha and the Omega, Volume I
-- by Jim A. Cornwell -- Chapter Four page 350, regarding Louis Waddell's chart of Kings No. 2 (3348 B.C.) through No. 34 (2751 B.C), in the column of Sumerian Names in King Lists and Monuments, also the Babylonian List (Kish and Isin Chronicles), he shows king number 7, as Mutin Ugun, which corresponds with the above Kings number 7, En-men-dur-ana and dates between 3205-3195 B.C.
- As to the Sumerian name Enmendurana or Enmenduranna (enmen, thirst [en: time + mun: salt] or [en: lord + men: both, two) + dur, cord, bond, + an-na, the god of heaven).
- Sum. enmen, emmen, immen, immin, emma, imma: thirst (en, 'time', + mun, 'salt'). Sum. énmen, émmen, ímmen, ímmin, émma, ímma: to drink beer.
- Sum. en: n., dignitary; lord; high priest; ancestor (statue); v., to rule; adj., noble.

- Sum. dúr: (cf., duruna).

- Sum. anedùr(ùr): he-ass; donkey foal.
- Sum. dur5: (cf., duru5).

- Several sources have made claims that the following about the name EN.ME.DUR.AN.KI, as being the same as Enmendurana.
Some sources believe that the biblical 'Enoch' was the equivalent of the Sumerian, EN.ME.DUR.AN.KI, the first High Priest from the city Sippar taken heavenward to be taught the secrets of Heaven and Earth, of divination, and of the calendar.

Thus 21,000 years ruled or 5 sar and 5 ner could equal 58 years and 120 days if recalculated.
