LIST COUNTS DECADES FROM ADAM
CONCLUSION: This list starts with the 40th sar after Adam. This list begins 390 years after Adam and as the 1266th year before the Flood. 1266 years & 240 days from October 3635 B.C. to July 2369/2368 B.C. The Flood was from November 2370 B.C. to November 2369 B.C. The July during the Flood or the July following the Flood is all pending on whether this was 1266 years or the 1266th year.
Every indication is that the years were counted ordinally (not yet cardinally). See Berosus list below.
FOLLOWING THREE LISTS ARE ALL ASSOCIATED WITH **ENOCH**
This list counts from ENOCH's death 986 years after Adam and as the 670th year before the Flood. ENOCH's death was in 3039 B.C. More probable as an ordinal number from 3039 B.C. to 2369 B.C. than 3040-2370 B.C.
CONCLUSION: This list counts from JARED's birth (Enoch's father). This list of Berosus begins 460 years after Adam and 1196 years before the Flood. It starts with Jared's birth 162 years before Enoch's birth. Jared was born in 3566 B.C. Enoch was born in 3404 B.C. 1197 years and 280 days from October 3566 B.C. to July 2369 B.C. The Flood was from November 2370 B.C. to November 2369 B.C., during July.
CONCLUSION: This list counts from METHUSELAH's birth (Enoch's son). It begins 686 years after Adam and as the 970th year before the Flood. Methuselah was born in 3339 B.C. It is important to note that in this list the kingship begins at Larsa after 300 years being the 670th year before the Flood.

From the Creation to the Flood
After months of researching the Bible thoroughly and independently arriving at the view which has been presented in chapter one, two and three of this book so far, I discovered the following information. It shows the three accepted biblical accounts and compiles what each states about the Chronology of the Old Testament patriarchs. It was quite refreshing to see that I was not just spitting into the wind on some of the concepts. It is obvious from the below tabulation that both Josephus and Luke used the Septuagint for their genealogical background material.
