Volume III - One World Religion
This file created on August 22, 2003 is a Volume III continuation of the Volume II file dated 12/31/1995 "1999-2010 ????? Unknown Future of the Fifth group of Twelve years" seen at http://www.mazzaroth.com/ChapterEight/FifthGroupOfTwelveYears.htm, and for other interest please see the file regarding Volume I for an indepth study of "Philosophy, Science And Religion," seen at http://www.mazzaroth.com/Introduction/PhilosophyScienceAndReligion.htm.
As you can see by the name of this file, "One World Religion," one must ask: What will be the unifying factor that will bring this to light in the fifth group of twelve years between 1999-2010?
As of September 11, 2001 we find ourselves in a battle against an ideology: religious totalitarianism (which is not the same as secular totalitarianism) in which the view is that one faith must reign and survive only if all the others are negated. This concept is being fought in schools, mosques, churches and synagogues.
The God in which the world believes speaks multiple languages and is not exhausted by just one faith. Each faith that came out of the biblical tradition - Judaism, Christianity and Islam - has a tendency to believe that it has the exclusive truth.
The opposite of religious totalitarianism is an ideology of pluralism - an ideology that embraces religious diversity and the idea that my faith can be nurtured without claiming exclusive truth. America is the Mecca of that ideology. Many Jews and Christians have already argued and gone back to their sacred texts to reinterpret their traditions to embrace modernity and pluralism, and to create space for secularism and alternative faiths. Other Christian and Jewish fundamentalists have rejected this notion, and that is what the battle is about. Most Americans patronize Islam, and mislead themselves, believing it as no serious problem in accepting the secular West, with its modernity and pluralism, while ignoring the extremist. Islam does not allow for equal recognition of alternative faith communities. Will Muslim's reinterpret their past in order to become globalized in that modernity and pluralistic "One World Religion"?
Here is another definition:
Pluralism is a condition of society in which numerous and distinct
ethnic, religious, or cultural groups coexist within one nation.
In Philosophy it is the doctrine that reality is composed of many ultimate substances,
the belief that no single explanatory system or view of reality can account for all the phenomena of life.
There are many interpretations of the Bible, and I have seen people transliterate this complex text into science factors, computer images and mathematical/formula concepts. I originally started out that way, but soon realized it’s not quite that simple.
As I have written on previous pages, my belief is that the Bible's verses are written with a three-fold concept.
This is of course "the literal, the metaphysical, and the spiritual." An analogy is the "Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost (i.e. Spirit)." If you only look at these verses from one point of view, and leave the other two out of the equation, then you will miss the whole point of the Scripture.
- If you become too literal, and do not include the spiritual it will fail.
- Like wise if we promote the metaphysical things as valid, and leave out the spiritual it will also fail.
- Metaphysics a branch of philosophy, where its name is given to research about the eternal, universal nature of things. The natural scientist deals with the kind of fundamental and basic properties that make up matter. The metaphysician (philosopher who deals with the metaphysics) studies the basic kinds of things and properties that make up the entire cosmos (universe). Metaphysics examines the nature of reality, including the relationship between mind and matter, substance and attribute, fact and value. A priori speculation upon questions that are unanswerable to scientific observation, analysis, or experiment. Traditionally, metaphysics is divided into two branches. These are ontology and cosmology.
- Ontology is the branch of metaphysics that deals with the ultimate nature of being or things, whether it is one or many, or of what kind.
- Cosmology the study of the physical universe considered as a totality of phenomena in time and space -- the astrophysical study of the history, structure, and constituent dynamics of the universe and a specific theory or model of this structure and these dynamics. It tries to seek to discover whether things are arranged in some hierarchy, and if they are, where the apex exists and how things ascend to various levels.
- As written in 2 Corinthians 4:6 "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."
2 Corinthians 4:18 "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."
- A person may realize that often things are not what they appear to be. Thus questions arise as to whether the things that we know are what they appear to be or whether they are manifestations (appearances) of something quite different. Would the world appear different if we had other types of experiences beyond our five senses? Some doctrines of metaphysics try to use qualitative and quantitative ontology to classify these types of realities or ultimate substances.
It was when I began looking at the verses with the three-fold concept that I started seeing the truth in Genesis, and the rest of the Bible. I have learned over the years to have faith and trust in God. He has always provided me with the right solutions when I needed them, not when I wanted them, yet it is because I follow his words with the three-fold concept that I have even grasped it.
Some believe the light of the churches is flickering and the salt is losing its savor. There is a darkness growing around us because the lamps of the churches are being removed from the lampstands.
As you read the following articles look seriously at what is going on in some churches today. Especially regarding open denial of biblical truth,
departure from Christian morality, a sweep of spiritism, occult and demon worship as never seen before, and no mention of Jesus Christ as their true Savior in their doctrines.
Notice the climate being developed so Jerusalem can become a center of religious worship for Islamic, Evangelical, Roman Catholic and Judaism.
Are we in tribulation yet, or just beginning to see it? It saddens me that I could not show much good news here, as every soul on earth will face their own tribulation when this period encompasses the earth. The combining of the major religions will eventually become a tool for the False Prophet (i.e. Religion) who aids the antichrist’s rise to world power. As seen in Revelation 13:1 the Beast with 7 heads and 10 horns that came out of the sea is waiting for an 8th (The Woman/Harlot the false religion - i.e. Prophetic Babylon) to grow from it as seen in Rev. 17:11) to sit on the scarlet beast (secular world), which will eventually destroy it. So eventually this Antichrist (i.e. the Beast) as seen in the Bible will come as the final entity of all evil in the last days, and totally opposed to God will destroy the established Church and demand worship as world dictator. This entity will have great power given from Satan, not God, and will draw many nations to that cause. Woe unto those who see this happen. Of course this will result in the denial of the truth about Christ, which gives this entity the designation of antichrist as seen in 1 John 2:22 and as "the man of lawlessness" which opposes and exalts himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4.
I know it is hard to be optimistic about the future in our world which is spiritually and morally ill, and in rebellion against God. The world is trying to run its lives without Him, which will cause a great woe. Jesus said, "For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander" (Matthew 15:19). As I have stated in other articles there is hope for those who have opened their hearts to Christ and put their faith in Him and not the world, the invisible Church of true believers is hidden and dispersed in the visible Church, the boundary lines which separate harlot and woman are not denominational nor drawn externally, but can only be spiritually discerned. Later in Revelation 18:4 the true believers will be called to leave Babylon, as Lot was warned to come out of Sodom before its destruction. The message is quite simple, become a true believer in the middle of your adversity, fear the LORD, repent your sins to Him, and hope that your faith in Him will enable you to see the sign when that call from destruction is sent.
So that you do not confuse truth with world religions, here is the definition of religion: "Belief in and worship of God or gods." "A particular system of faith and worship." "A person devoted to religion, connected with religion, interested in religion, belonging to an order of a religion."
Also here is the definition of secular: "Not religious or sacred, worldly, living in the world, not belonging to a religious order, thus having skepticism in regard to religion, as in opposing the introduction of religion into public schools or other public affairs."
God has already given us truth, His Son (Romans 6:23), Whom we must receive by faith, not of works (Ephesians 2:8, 9), for He stands at the door waiting for us to open it (Revelation 3:20) to become the children of God (John 1:12).
