Star Names of Delphinus
a Sualocin a name created in 1814 by Palermo Observatory, you may want to notice that reversed it spells "Nicholaus," or "Nicolaus."

• Other names for Sualocin: Scalouin, Svalocin.
  • Rolleston and in "The Witness of the Stars," by E.W. Bullinger, page 82 "Scalooin (Arabic), swift (as the flow of water), Job 24:18."
    • Swift.
      • Hebrew qal, kal, contraction from Heb. qalal, kaw-lal', a primary root to be light (swift, small, sharp, etc.), thus light (by implication) rapid (also adv.): light, swift (-ly).

b Rotanev created in the same catalog reading backwards it spell "Venator."

• Nicolaus Venator is the Latinized form of the Italian name Niccolo Cacciatore, the assistant to the director of the Palermo Observatory.
• Other names for Rotanev: Rotanen.
  • Rolleston and in "The Witness of the Stars," by E.W. Bullinger, page 82 "Rotaneb or Rotanev (Syriac and Chaldee), swiftly running," (as water in the trough) Exodus 2:16."
    • Water.
      • Hebrew shaqah, shaw-kaw', a primary root to quaff, i.e. (caus.) to irrigate or furnish a potion to, cause to drink, drown, moisten, water.

e De'neb "tail" or Al Dhanab ad-Dulfin, "Tail of the Dolphin."

• Other names for Al Dhanab ad-Dulfin: Deneb Dulfin, Deneb el Delphinus, 'Amud al Salib.
